On February 19, 2020, Combined Community Services (CCS) will host its 1st Annual Love Thy Neighbor Luncheon. This is a fundraising event that provides needed funds for CCS to continue the mission of providing comfort, hope and resources for neighbors in need.
CCS has served Kosciusko County since 1984 and works with people to stabilize their situation through our Emergency Assistance and continues the path toward independency by helping them set and meet sustainable long term goals through economic Self-Sufficiency programs. We are “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” by bringing the communities’ resources to a single location to assist families in immediate crisis and through long term case management by giving a ‘Hand Up not a Hand Out’.
The keynote speaker for this year’s event is Tamika Catchings, Vice President of Basketball Operations for the Indiana Fever. Tamika’s story was depicted in Catch A Star: Shining through Adversity to Become a Champion with a foreword by Tony Dungy, which shares her story of overcoming hearing loss, separation from family, high expectations and the pain of debilitating physical injuries. She reached for the stars with hard work, perseverance and her faith in God.
We invite you to review the ticket options and see how you can be a part of this year’s event. Your support will help with the expense of the luncheon so that all donations received at the event can support the mission here at CCS. Download the registration form here.
