Noble Gnome is CSA a different way!

Community. Supported. Agriculture.

Noble Gnome is a produce farm dedicated to providing fresh local produce to those in need in our community.

Thinking through every step of the process on their farm from the nutrition in the soil where plants grow, to the finished goods in consumer hands, Noble Gnome’s mission is to provide our community with fresh, reliable, nutrient dense food options.

Thousands of pounds of fresh seasonal produce is harvested and delivered, May – October.

All of Noble Gnome’s produce is grown locally using regenerative and organic practices, and harvested at peak ripeness resulting in high-quality nutrient-dense produce.

Through Dane’s Family Food Pantry, Noble Gnome distributes this fresh produce to our guests who can benefit from it the most.

Recipes from Dane's Family Food Pantry

Collard Greens

Collard greens can be sauted, slow cooked, steamed, microwaved, and seared for a variety of dishes!

Bok Choy

Bok Choy is also called Chinese cabbage, and has been grown in China for more than 6,000 years! It can be eaten raw or cooked.

Cabbage

Cabbage is the main ingredient in coleslaw and you can add cabbage to lettuce salads for extra crunch or shredded in tacos.

Lettuce

Lettuces can be used as wraps in place of bread and added to soups and smoothies. Since lettuce absorbs flavors, add to favorite dishes in place of cabbage.

Rhubarb

Rhubarb can roasted, sauteed, stewed, or pureed. Pour stewed rhubarb over ice cream or drizzle it onto pancakes!

Radish

Radishes are most often served raw, halved and sprinkled with salt, shaved into salads, layered over butter-smeared baguettes, or shredded into slaws.

Garlic Scapes

Garlic scapes are the curlicue flower bud of the garlic plant. Scapes are a wonderful spring treat! They have a mild garlic flavor and can be used just like garlic in many recipes.
