Glass Slipper Event
Glass Slipper Event April 15th 10:00 – 1:00 p.m. Combined Community Services is hosting an annual event that is designed to help teens in Kosciusko
Prom, an important milestone tradition for high school students, is coming soon and young women in our community are preparing by choosing beautiful dresses and paying for hair, makeup, and nail services. While honored as a long-time tradition, prom is also one of the most expensive occasions of high school and would not be possible for some without the Glass Slipper. Now, in its 15th year, the Glass Slipper event allows young women the opportunity to receive a prom dress, shoes, jewelry, and even some beauty services or a meal for two.
We are looking forward to serving young ladies in our community to help make prom special for everyone. This event will allow them to select a prom dress in a comfortable setting and to be a part of a special night that they otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend.
The campaign is underway, accepting donated prom dresses, shoes, and jewelry. Combined Community Services will also be working with local restaurants, salon owners, and greenhouses to be able to provide an “all-in-one” stop for young ladies in Kosciusko County. Tax deductible monetary donations are being accepted that will help more young women and men be able to attend prom.
