What an incredible day! Because of the generosity of our community, this year’s Tools for School was a tremendous success. Together, we helped ensure that thousands of Kosciusko County students are walking into the new school year equipped, encouraged, and ready to learn. Here’s the impact we made together: 552 Families served on the day of the event 1,392 Kosciusko County students served the day of the event 16 schools had students served the day of the event. Each school received enough supplies to impact 350 students totaling 5,600 students. 50 Students served after the event through the CCS office 7,042 Kosciusko County students impacted 300 Bibles given out by the Gideons 672 pairs of shoes distributed 92 free haircuts provided 140 children attended the Good News Caboose 32 children made decisions to follow Jesus 30 Community Service tables Estimated 7,300-10,000 articles of clothing given out from Kids Market clothing |
None of this would have been possible without the volunteers who gave their time, energy, and smiles to serve families throughout the day. From setting up and checking in families to cutting hair, sorting shoes, and encouraging children, every volunteer played an important role in making the event a welcoming experience.
We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to the businesses, churches, organizations, and individual donors who invested financially to fill backpacks and donate supplies. Your generosity provided far more than backpacks and school supplies—you gave children confidence, hope, and a strong start to the school year.
Tools for School is a beautiful reminder of what happens when a community comes together around a common purpose. Thank you for believing in the students and families of Kosciusko County and for making a lasting difference in their lives!
